SUMMARY OF GOALS

The following is a summary of goals set by the various strategic planning subcommittees.

Specific objectives are outlined in the strategic planning tables in Appendix A.

Goal

Clinical Excellence

n Create a comprehensive portfolio of services providing primary/family care for

targeted population.

n Improve the health of target middle-aged population in Madison County

through increased focus on disease management.

n Ensure successful, controlled growth of oral health services in Anderson with

eventual expansion to Elwood.

n Provide access to a complete formulary of prescriptions drugs at minimal cost

to patients.

n Provide timely, excellent, on-site Behavioral Health services for MCCHC

patients.

Facilities / Infrastructure

n Provide an Anderson facility conducive to supporting clinical excellence and

patient satisfaction within the Primary/Family Care objectives of the MCCHC.

n Provide an Elwood facility conducive to supporting clinical excellence and

patient satisfaction within the Primary/Family Care objectives of the MCCHC.

Human Resources

n Provide for efficient and effective staffing levels in support of MCCHC’s

mission and strategic plan.

Marketing / Outreach

n Build positive relationships among target populations and referral sources

supporting growth in the number of MCCHC patient encounters.

n Build awareness, advocation, and active support of the MCCHC by

community and governmental leaders.

Finance

n Identify specific financial goals and performance metrics to monitor short- and

long-term financial health.

n To provide the financial means to make available adequate facilities with

which to meet MCCHC mission and strategic objectives.
