What

At the Madison County Community Health
Centers, comprehensive care is the goal we have for all patients.
In order to accomplish this, we offer a full range of dental
services from pre-natal through geriatrics, as well as everyone
in-between. We focus our efforts on satisfying the patient’s
needs as well as any wants or desires they may have for their
smiles. It is our belief that no one should be denied the
opportunity for a healthy, great-looking smile.

Comprehensive care means we look at the entire individual
when we decide on the best type of oral health care to
provide them. We thoroughly examine the medical and dental
history of each patient and implement a long-term treatment plan to help that individual achieve and maintain
a healthy mouth and a high self-esteem. This is generally
broken down into a ranking of categories:
Emergent care: What are the areas that cause aches and
pains?
Preventative Oral care/Periodontal care: Has it been a
while since your last cleaning? Are you brushing correctly?
Let’s get the gums healthy.
Fillings: Are there any spots of decay? Get rid of the
cavities.
Root
canals, Crowns, Partials, Dentures: Let’s give you back
your smile!
Follow-up: Come back to see us in 3 to 6 months. |
The initial visit to our center is a time to get to know the
dentist who will be responsible for you to voice any
concerns about your oral health. It is important to collect
any pertinent health/dental information, so there will be
forms to fill out. A comprehensive exam is includes an oral cancer screen. From this exam your dentist
can determine and take any needed
x-rays, develop them, and
compile a comprehensive treatment plan. At the end of the
appointment, your comprehensive care “game plan” will be set
in motion and you can schedule your next appointment knowing
what treatment can be completed. Please ask about costs.
At MCCHC, we believe a well informed patient is the best
patient to have |
