Memorandum
of Understanding
The Madison County Community Health Centers, Inc a 501 (c) (3) IRS
approved Indiana non-profit corporation was founded in 1999 for the purpose of
providing quality accessible health care to the underserved populations of
Madison County. The underserved
population is experiencing problems of health service access and disparities
that are prevalent to the socially, culturally, and economically “poor” of Madison County.
MCCHC offers quality health care services to the Medicaid, Medicare,
un-insured, and under-insured population.
Madison County Community Health Centers is an approved Federally
Qualified Health Center (FQHC) as of April 1, 2003, and is governed by a
consumer driven Board of Directors as specified by 330 Bureau of Primary Health
Care Standards.
