Text Box: The 6th Annual State of Health Breakfast was held at the Anderson Country Club with the theme "Making a Difference".  Roger Clark, City of Anderson, greeted the approximately 130 guest, along with Indiana State Senator Tim Lanane, who brought the Welcome with words of praise to the staff and Board of Directors. The Honorary Chair Person was Paul Wilson, County Commissioner.  Through the years, the County Commissioners have been strong supporters of the work of the Madison County Community Health Centers.  The Hope...Trust...Healing Award was presented to the medical office of Bridges, Campbell, & Woodall for their 50 plus years of providing medical services to Madison County.   A surprise guest from the Indiana Department of Health, Rita Hope, commended the President and CEO, Anthony Malone, for his exemplary work in the upstart and continuous operations of the Health Center in spite of the many challenges that health care continues to present.  The Keynote speaker, John Cafazza, Director of Division of Health Center Management for the Bureau of Primary Health Care, presented a history of the Community Health Centers and their relationship with the communities they serve.  Mr. Cafazza stated," It takes a lot of people, energy in areas of expertise, and a commitment with health care.  With the changing needs of the community, Madison County Community Health Center is making a difference".
