Madison County Community Health center is presenting the 14th Annual Back Yard BBQ on Friday August 11th at our 1547 Ohio Ave location in Anderson. The event begins at 5:00 PM and runs until 8:30.

The event takes place to coordinate with National Health Center Week which is August 13-19. The theme for the National Health Center Week is “Celebrating America’s Health Centers: the key to healthier communities”.

We expect nearly 1,000 attendees again this year.  There will be booths with medical information, social service organizations, police, fire and more. There will be a room with Children’s activities including face painting, balloons, coloring and more. There will be a petting zoo and Llamas for the kids to enjoy.  Anderson Speedway will have driver’s cars and drivers at the event answering questions regarding their vehicles and the speedway.

Attendees can get their blood pressure checked, have their A1C tested as well as making appointments for children with our medical team.

Free food will be given to those in attendance.  Elected officials from the county and state will have proclamations announcing their support for National Health Center Week and Madison County Community Health Center and their services.
